Varun Dhawan Promots ‘Badlapur’ in Jaipur

While being in Jaipur for the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Badlapur’ Varun Dhawan was in complete get up of his character in the film. He appeared with beards and rough and tough look.
When questioned about his look he replied jokingly, “Yehdaadhi pehle ugti nahi thi, ab kaatne nahi dete.”
Varun has been to Jaipur for the promotion of his many films and he likes Jaipur a lot.

He said, “I’ve come here before the release of every film. I really like the city and I’ve got very good response from here because I think I connect well with the people. And actions films work well in Jaipur, so we had to come here for Badlapur.”

Varun said that he agreed for the film soon after ‘Student of the Year’ but from where did he get the inspiration for this grey character, he replied, “A lot from my director Sriram Raghavan. The body language and mannerisms we worked on a lot. But a lot of styling, the way I dressed, is based on how he is in real life.”

About how much he expects from the film, Varun said, “This isn’t a run-of-the-mill story, so I’m anxious to see how people react to it.”
