Raj Tharun is a good
Avika Gor has given a neat performance
Raj, though a debutante was impressive with his ease, body language, dialogues deliver. Avika is well known to Telugu audience with ‘Chinnari Pellikooturu’ TV serial. She did well in the role of a naughty and confused ‘maradalu’. Kireeti of Second Hand fame did a cameo in this. His presence doesn’t go unnoticed. All other actors did their bit and made this film a watchable fare. The rest are all new faces but none give you an impression of a debutant.
Story of the film is simple and routine cute love story between two cousins. Director keeps it simple and straight to easily connect the character of the story. First half of the film breezes off with a wonderful pace. Director failed to make that moment click and the pace in second half slows down considerably. Youthful films are mainly focusing on the urbane romance these days. But we still have lovable and cute couples in villages and their love is as natural and as clean as the village greenery. Uyyala Jampala brings one of those cute village couples on to the screen and it is a delight to watch their love story. Uyyala Jampala is as simple and as natural as its title. It is a cute love story of confused cousins.
Background score and music is good. Cinematography is attractive. Editing is ok but slow pace of the film makes one feel that it could have been better. Production values are quite high.
