Trisha Croons A Song For Her Bilingual ‘Nayaki’
Yesterday we talked about heroes and heroines lending their own voices for their songs in their respective films, while talking about Anjali singing a song for her movie. Now, one more heroine, for that matter, a senior heroine, Trisha, decided to croon a song for her latest movie ‘Nayaki’ under the musical direction of Raghu Kunche. The film is coming up as a bilingual and Trisha crooned the song for the Telugu version. Surprisingly, these heroines could not dare to dub their own voice for their characters but they are coming forward to sing songs for their films. When asked about it Trisha had revealed her mind that she is planning to dub her own voice in Telugu films from now on. In the good olden days, that is before 1950s the artistes including S Varalakshmi, Nagaiah, Bhanumati and the like used to sing their own songs and never depened on the playback singers. After that the popularity and demand for playback singers went up and the artistes gave lip moments for those songs. Now it was proved that the globe is round and again time has come for the artistes to render their own voice for their songs too. It all began with NTR and the trend continued with Pawan Kalyan, Nara Rohit, Raviteja, Nitya Menon, Anjali and now Trisha.
