‘Thanni Oruvan’ Remake Titled ‘Dhruva’

Ram Charan’s latest film is the remake of Tamil film ‘Thanni Oruvan’. Though initially the remake has been titled ‘Rakshak’, it was later changed to ‘Dhruva’ as per the Mega family sources. The title was confirmed as it got a nod from Mega Star Chiranjeevi as well. After a disaster like ‘Bruce Lee’, Ram Charan is firm to bag a big hit and took a little gap and decided to resurface before the camera and arc lights with this Tamil remake. According to information, the film would go to sets in a few hours from now (i.e., on February 18) under the direction of Surender Reddy and Mega Producer Allu Aravind is producing the flick. Ram Charan is playing the role of a powerful IPS officer yet again. The film is all about how an IPS officer tried to eliminated organised crime. The film is basically a thriller based on mind games involving a powerful police officer and a clever businessman. Aravind Swamy, who is well known as the hero of ‘Roja’ film long ago, is playing the villain’s role. It may be recalled here that Aravind Swamy portrayed the same role in the original Tamil version and he will reprise his character in Telugu as well. The music director Hip Hop Thamizha is making his debut into Telugu with this movie. It is learnt that Rakul Preet Singh is shaking her hips with Ram Charan and romancing with him in the female led. ‘Dhruva’ is slated for release in August
