Tollywood strike may disrupt December releases
Tollywood suddenly finds itself in a crisis with work coming to a standstill. The incident between stuntmen of Telugu and Tamil film fields on the sets of Kandireega made the Telugu Film Producers Council call for a one day strike.
The Council has called the stuntmen unions for discussions but the Federation of cine workers is reportedly seeking settlement of all pending issues and threatened to strike work.
If the cessation of work by the cine workers’ union continues, it may affect the big releases of films this month – Venkatesh’ Nagavalli, Ravi Teja’s Mirapakaya and Nagarjuna’s Ragada.
