Tejas Malode wins India’s Magic Star
New Delhi, Sep 5 (IANS) Mumbai-based Tejas Malode was Sunday declared the winner of Star One’s reality show “Cadbury Gems India’s Magic Star”.
The nine-week journey came to an end when Tejas beat Sooraj Singh from Kolkata to walk away with the title of India’s first magic star and a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh.
The finale episode saw cut-throat competition as both the contenders battled it out for the title with some daring and dazzling magic acts.
It also saw some astonishing performances by mentors, judges and magicians S.A.C. Vasanth, Rajat Narasimhan and renowned American illusionist Franz Harary. Actor Jackie Shroff added the celebrity quotient to the show as a judge.
Cricketer Harbhajan Singh was invited to the show as a special guest.
Comedians Suresh Menon and Sunil Pal added to the entertainment factor with their hilarious stand-up comedy acts.
