Teja’s Keka is a vibrant teen movie
Cameraman turned director Teja started off his film making career with Chitram, which became a run-away hit and also became a cult movie, triggering a spate of teenage films culminating in Happy Days. The cult of teen films is still continuing unabated in Tollywood.
Teja in his typical style assembled an all new star cast for his film titled Keka. The son of lyricist Seetharama Sastry and a Mumbai model play the lead roles. According to inside sources, the award winning cinematographer, PC Sriram is said to have done a brilliant celluloid masterpiece of camera work in Keka. The songs are said to have been picturised extremely well, especially two songs – a rain song and another with the desert background.
The music for the film has been composed by Chakri. Insiders say that the music is both melodious and foot-tapping. Teja decided not to release the audio before the release of the film.
Keka is described as a teenage romantic saga. The debutante heroine is believed to have delivered such an exceptional performance, that she has been sounded out by Vidhu Vinod Chopra for his next Bollywood venture.
