Tamil film “Nadodigal” to be remade in Hindi
Diector Samuthirakkani who made the hit film “Nadodigal” in Tamil says that it will be remade in Hindi and Kannada also. The Telugu remake of the film with Ravi Teja in the lead will go on floors in August.
Released in June, “Nadodigal”, an ode to friendship, stars Sasikumar, Abhinaya, Ananya, Vijay Vasanth, Bharani and Ganja Karuppu and is running to packed houses at 168 centres in Tamil Nadu. The total cost of the film was Rs.7.40 crore and according to the distributors, the film is expected to collect more than Rs.30 crore once it completes 100 days.
The Hindi remake will have Dev Patel of “Slumdog Millionaire” fame while Puneet play the lead role in Kannada version. The Hindi and Telugu versions will be directed by Samuthirakkani himself.
