T-activists disrupt APFCC meet
The Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC) general body meeting of directors at Film Nagar was yesterday disrupted by slogan shouting pro-Telangana activists. They demanded that directors from the Telangana region should get their share in the office-bearer posts of the body.
The pro-T activists staged a protest raising ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans for nearly 30 minutes. The Banjara Hills police arrested 14 protesters and booked cases against them under section 151 (Arrest to prevent the commission of cognizable offences) of the CrPC. They were later released on personal bail.
