Sudigadu Is Just A Spoof; No Disrespect To Stars
Director Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao, whose film Sudigaadu, is releasing Tomorrow, August 24, says the film is just a spoof on Tollywood films and on the larger than life presentation of heroes in the films. The spoofs come in the form scenes from well known films or dialogues or costumes or a combination of all these. The film is an attempt at comic entertainment, and is not meant to show any disrespect for any star.
Though the film’s structure is adapted from the Tamil film Thamizh Padam, the script for Sudigadu has been tweaked to suit Telugu nativity. The director says that more than hundred films have been screened to select choicest scenes that are suitable for spoof.
Allari Naresh plays the central role. Though there is a thin line of story that runs through the film, it is regularly punctuated by spoofs right from Shiva to Bharateeyudu to Pokiri to Maryada Ramanna to Gabbar Singh.
Perhaps, the film would be like a marathon mimikry show with live special effects.
