SRK stopped taking fee for films
That is true. Shah Rukh Khan has stopped taking fee or remuneration for the films he is acting. No, he has not become generous. He is so confident that his films will always bust the box office that he is only sharing 50% of the profits that the film generates.
This is the arrangement SRK had with Adithya Chopra for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan.
According to Bollywood reports, SRK was charging something around Rs 15 Crores per film, but he got more than that by profit sharing for the film Chake De India, an experimental theme in Indian cinema which was predicted to be a disaster before its release. Everyone knows what happened after itsd release.
Chak De Shah Rukh!
