Sonu Sood, who has worked mostly in Telugu films, got a foothold in Bollywood after his performance in Salman Khan’s Dabangg. He is now playing the role of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in Sanjay Gupta’s film Shootout at Wadala.
Sonu says that he did lot of research on the don and the look of his character in the film. He will have a moustache and wear 1970’s bell-bottom trousers. His co-stars in the film include John Abraham and Anil Kapoor.
The actor is also starring in another Hindi film Maximum which is based on encounters in Mumbai between 2003 and 2008. Directed by Kabeer Kaushik, the film also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Vinay Pathak.
