With severe competition among the various TV channels for the satellite rights of top Hindi films, the rates are sky-rocketing, almost getting 50% of the production costs.

Karan Johar’s Agneepath‘s satellite rights were sold for a whopping Rs. 37 crores and Shah Rukh Khan and Farha Khan’s Don 2s satellite rights were sold for Rs. 32 crores.

Now the news is that even before going on floors, Salman Khan’s Dabaang 2 has been offered about Rs. 45 crores for the satellite rights.
