Sharwanand, is one of the popular young heroes not only in Telugu but also in the Tamil film industry. After completing his B Com from Wesley’s college in Vijayawada, he learnt dance and then joined the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai. He modelled for The Hindu’s Best New Face contest. He shot into fame with Thumbs Up promo with Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Though he portrayed some supporting roles in his early days of career, he debuted as hero with Aidava Tareeku in 2003. He turned a star with Vennela and Amma Cheppindi. He won laurels with his films like Gamyam, Andari Bandhuvaya and Prasthanam. He got his commercial breakthrough with the film, Run Raja Run, one of the blockbusters for 2014. His next film ‘Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju‘ with Nithya Menon got a positive response from critics, though it was a moderate hit at Box Office. Next came ‘Express Raja’ which was also proved a hit and Sharwanand created a hat-trick with successive hits. A rumour made rounds in Film Nagar that Sharwanand has hiked his remuneration after continuous hits. However, Sharwanand made it clear that he personally did not enhance or hike his remuneration but it was the producers, who were hiking his remuneration.
