However, the issue of legal rights has come out in the open within the family members of G P Sippy.
Producer G P Sippy’s son Suresh has raised a strong objection against G P Sippy’s grandsons, Sascha and Shaan, claiming that they had no right to sell the remake rights while the grandsons state they have the legal sanction to do so.
Sascha and Shaan say that they are the legal heirs for the rights of the films produced by GP Sippy. But, Suresh Sippy has approached the courts to settle the issue.
