Second movie syndrome
After tasting huge success with first film, some directors falter with the second and recharge later. There are several people in Telugu film industry, who joined the top league of directors with their first movie.
Jagarlamudi Radhakrishna (Krish) achieved exceptional success with his debut film Gamyam. His second film Vedam carries the burden of great expectations.
Ram Gopal Varma, Teja, Karunakaran, Puri Jagannath, VN Aditya, VV Vinayak, Surender Reddy, Samudra, Sukumar etc had tasted the second cinema syndrome.
