In the backdrop of a great disaster like ‘Sardar Gabbar Singh’, another Mega hero’s film ‘Sarrainodu’ was released. Surprisingly, the film had earned a mixed talk from the audiences. Moreover, the entire media gave a negative touch creating tension among the Mega fans. However, all the negative talk turned positive with over 90 per cent collections from everywhere the film was released. The collections remained steady at some places while went up in some other places and after the completion of two weeks time, the film had recorded stunning collections and they crossed Rs 50 crore mark. The sudden spurt in collections stunned the film pundits and analysts as all their expectations were proved wrong. The film remained a profitable project for everyone including the exhibitors, buyers and finally the producers. The only exception is the overseas buyers. According to the film pundits, the gross collections would touch Rs 60 crore share. However, the final outcome will depend on the success of ‘Supreme’ and ‘24’. Though summer holidays may work in favour of ‘Sarrainodu’ the tough competition may act as a hiccup to achieve further revenues.
