Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger Breaches 200 Cr Mark

Aamir Khan, with his 3 Idiots, is all alone in the 200-crore-club, but he now got company. Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger breached the Rs 200 crore mark at the end of its second week in theatres and still counting.

Ek Tha Tiger was released on August 15, 2012 and in the first week itself entered the Rs 100 crore club. The film at the end of the second week has already earned more than Rs 175 crore in India. Combined with overseas figures, the film has has grossed Rs 210 crore.

With 5 films in the 100-crore-club, Salman is the number one vasool raja in Bollywood. His next film Dabangg 2 directed by his brother Arbaaz Khan will hit the screens on December 21, 2012. He also plays lead role in his brother Sohail Khan’s film Sher Khan, which will be released next year. He also has the Hindi remake of Telugu film Kick. And all these films have the potential to join the 100-crore-club.
