Director Rohit Shetty and actor-producer Ajay Devgn are a great combination in Bollywood. Rohit was assistant director with Kuku Kohli on the film Phool Aur Kaante (1991) the debut film of Ajay Devgn. Moreover, Rohit Shetty’s father M. B. Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan were both stunt directors and contemporaries.

Now, Rohit is planning a film with Ajay Devgn and his wife Kajol as the lead pair. Kajol has enthralled the audience right from Baazigar to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and My Name Is Khan.
Rohit is said to be scouting for a good script. He is said to be scanning Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films for a Hindi remake starring Ajay and Kajol. With Singham, a remake becoming a hit, Ajay is said to be not averse to a few more remakes of South films.
