Reliance pumps $200 mn into Spielberg’s studio
Anil Ambani-led Reliance Entertainment has pumped in $200 million to DreamWorks Studios, the film company headed by director Steven Spielberg for making films.
Reliance Entertainment, a unit of Reliance ADA Group entered into an agreement with DreamWorks in 2009 to produce films with an investment of $325 million. Reliance retains the distribution rights for the films in India.
DreamWorks is producing Spielberg’s Lincoln, scheduled to be released in December 2012.
