Rebel Star Krishnam Raju out of Danger
U.V. Krishnam Raju the Veteran Telugu actor and former union minister was hospitalized here for treatment of a heart upset. He underwent angioplasty and doctors said his condition is currently stable.
Saturday at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) the 75-year-old underwent the surgery.
The actor’s manager said, “Doctors found blockage in his heart and operation was performed. The doctors have confirmed that he’s out of danger. He will be discharged today or tomorrow,”.
The surgery was performed underneath the supervising of medical specialty head Dr. Seshagiri Rao.

In the 12th and 13th Lok Sabha he was a former Lok Sabha member who represented Kakinada and Narsapur constituencies, respectively. He served as minister of state for external affairs from 1999 to 2004.
