Raveena Tandon., who recently enthralled her fans with a spirited performance in Bbuddhah Hoga Tera Baap, will be seen in the film Shobhana 7 Nights which is being made by Sudipto Chattopadhyaya.
The film follows the story of struggling male actors, who turn to prostitution to earn money. Raveena plays a married columnist who is abused by her husband and finds solace in a young man who is one of the many strugglers in Bollywood.
Sudipto Chattopadhyaya had earlier made the film Pankh with Bipasha Basu, Lilette Dubey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy, Sanjeeda Sheikh and newcomers Maradona Rebello and Amit Purohit. The film was based on the case of child actor Ahsaas Channa, who’s apparently a girl passed off as a boy in movies like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Vaastu Shastra.
