Actor Ranbir Kapoor who is currently busy with his upcoming film was out campaigning for his latest humanitarian initiative – aid for Kashmir flood victims.
Ranbir will be part of the star-studded ‘Hum Hain Ummeed-e-Kashmir concert’ apart from hosting a telethon to raise funds.
The concert will be held in Mumbai on October 18.
The actor says, “Nobody’s (no actor’s) career is complete until they shoot in Kashmir, sing a song. I have done Rockstar there. We all have a perception that Kashmir is just a conflict zone but actually it’s one of the most peaceful places where one can be.”
The actor further says about Bollywood’s connection with Kashmir, “There is a Bobby house or a Betaab Hill and many more landmarks named after Bollywood. People show us so much love when we go there to shoot”.
Other Bollywood celebrities including actors Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Farhan Akhtar will also be a part of the initiative.
