Rana to debut with Shekhar Kammula’s film
Rana, son of Suresh and grand son of veteran producer D Rama Naidu, had been waiting in the wings to make his entry into Tollywood. It is reported that he had taken lessons in acting in India and abroad.
The buzz now is that Shekhar Kammula will direct Rana in a film that will be produced by AVM Studios. The story is believed to be by the AVM story department and the screenplay has been written by Kammula.
In fact, after Happy Days, the acclaimed director was said to be busy remaking the film in Hindi. As there is some delay in that venture, Shekhar was persuaded by Rama Naidu to launch Rana.
The year 2009 will see star-son-stokes on the screen. Ram Charan Tej, son of Chiranjeevi, Nag Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna and Rana, grandson of D Rama Naidu.
