Ram Gopal Varma meets factionists
A realistic film on Rayalaseema faction feuds titled Rakta Charithra is being made by Ram Gopal Varma, which will be directed by debutants Dharma and Raksha. According to sources, this film is more or less based on the life and times of Paritala Ravindra(Ravi) who was killed in a faction fight.
As part of research for this film RGV went to Ananthapur and met Patitala Sunitha wife of the slain factionist and Penugonda MLA. He is said to have gathered some information regarding the personality and personal life of Paritala Ravi.
Earlier, RGV met Maddela Cheruvu Suryanarayana alias Suri, who is the prime accused in the murder of Paritala Ravi in the Ananthapur jail.
The film Rakta Charitra will be made with new faces, according to RGV. He says the film will not be pro or anti factionist, but portrays the phenomenon of faction feud.
