Ram Charan Tej, who delivered Tollywood’s biggest hit in 2009 with SS Rajamouli directed “Magadheera” is said to be making his Bollywood debut once he completes his present film that is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.
Farhan Akhthar, filmmaker, script writer, actor, playback singer, lyricist, film producer, and television host, who made his directorial debut with the cult film “Dil Chahta Hai”, has reportedly signed up Ram Charan Tej to play the lead role in his forthcoming film tentatively titled “Hafiz”.
Farhan Akhthar made highly succwssful films like “Lakshya” (2004) and “Don – The Chase Begins Again” (2006). He wanted to make “Don 2 – The Chase Continues” but the project has been put off because the dates of Shah Rukh Khan are not immediately available. Thus, he decided to make “Hafiz” with Ram Charan Tej. Farhan is said to have been impressed with Ram Charan’s performance in “Magadheera”.
