Ram Charan’s Hindi debut with Zanjeer remake

Ram Charan Tej is said to be considering making his Bollywood debut with the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1973 hit film Zanjeer. The actor is said to be already having discussions with Prakash Mehra for the remake rights.

Amitabh played an honest cop in the film Zanjeer which was written by Salim-Javed and produced and directed by Prakash Mehra. The film also starred Pran, Jaya Bahaduri and Om Prakash.

According to sources, Ram Charan wanted to make his Hindi debut with the film titled Welcome to the Jungle but the plans were shelved.

Ram Charan is presently shooting for the film Rachcha which is being produced by Super Good Movies and directed by Sampath Nandi.
