Puri-Pawan Kalyan’s CGTR Gets T-Activists Ire
The Telangana activists from Osmania University Today disrupted the morning show of Pawan Kalyan starrer Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, at Aradhana theatre at Tarnaka, Hyderabad, stating that some scenes and dialogues are inimical to the separate Telangana state movement.
T-activists from Kakatiya University, Warangal, damaged the cutouts and flexis of the film erected in the premises of Amruth theatre.
Director Puri Jagannath said that it was not his intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments or feelings and if the T-activists object to any scenes or dialogues, he wouldn’t mind deleting the same.
Producer and distributor of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu for the Nizam area, Dil Raju, said that he himself hails from Telangana region and he did not find any demeaning references to Telangana movement in the film.
However, the T-activists maintained that the references of Telugu Talli and Udyamam are obvious references to Telangana movement.
