Priyamani’s Charulatha To Release In 3 Languages

National Award winning actress priyamani is playing a dual role as conjoined sisters in the film Charulatha which is being made in Three languages — Tamil, Kannada and Telugu.

This film is said to be an official remake of the Thai-Korean film, Alone (2007). It is being directed by Ponkumaran, who earlier assisted K. Bhagyaraj and K. S. Ravikumar. It is being produced by Ramesh Krishnamoorthy and the Telugu version will be released by Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts. The music is composed by Sundar C Babu. The cast includes Skanda, Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and Arthi. The film is described as a horror thriller.

Interestingly, KV Anand is making a Tamil film titled Matraan where Surya plays the conjoined twins. This film also has a Telugu version. This film, as the teaser shows, has romance and drama
