Pritish Nandy’s JV with England’s High Point
Bollywood’s production house Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) entered into a joint venture agreement with England’s High Point Media Group headed by Carey Fitzgerald for international distribution of PNC films.
The first PNC produced film to be distributed world-wide by High Point will be “Ek Tho Chance” its English title being “Last Chance Mumbai”. This film has been directed by Saeed Akhtar Mirza of “Naseem” fame, which won international acclaim.
This film takes a kaleidoscopic look at 24 hours in the Mumbai metropolis and follows the mixed fortunes of various characters in the city right from the lowest rung to the elite and Page 3 crowd.
PNC which spearheaded corporatization of Bollywood films has once again become the first Indian film production house to enter into a joint venture with an international distribution company.
