Pravarakyudu Telugu Movie review
Pravarkyudu is a romantic tale of misunderstandings between lovers and their ultimate reconciliation.
Sashi (Jagapathi Babu) is a dean of Zoology at an American university and
returns to India. He rejects many alliances for marriage for various reasons. His friend Ravi (Suniel) reminds him of his college love affair with Shailaja (Priyamani).
Ten years ago, Sashi and Shailaja, during their college days have a romantic relationship. Shailaja having a crush on him, but Sashi somehow responds with lukewarm aloofness. Shailaja hates him for that and they get separated.
Shailaja is now working as a principal of a women’s college. She is still unmarried and known as a disciplinarian. Sashi joins that college as lecturer
to win back Shailaja. Will he succeed?
Jagapathi Babu once again comes out with an effective performance essayed with consummate ease. Priyamani is decent and convincing in her role.
Hamsa Nandini has nothing much to do. The trio of Brahmanandam, Sunil and Ali tickle the funny bone. All others are adequate in their roles.
Director Madan has come out with a decent story that is narrated well with
sensitivity. The dialogues are meaningful. The screenplay keeps the audience interest in the narration. Music by Keeravani is pleasing to the ears.
Cinematography by Surender Reddy is top class. Editing and background score enhance the narration values. Production values are high.
Pravarkyudu is a decent love story sensibly told with good performances by Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani. This
is a good film and deserves to be seen.
