Pencil To Hit The Screens On May 13

Popular music director GV Prakashkumar making his debut as hero with ‘Pencil’. Sri Divya of ‘Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu, Bus stop, Kerintha and Manasaara’-fame is pairing up with him as heroine. Mani Nagaraj, who worked as an associate with Gautham Menon for films like “Manmatha, Cheli, Raghavan and Gharshana”, is wielding the megaphone for the first time for this bilingual and the film is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages. M Purushottam is presenting the movie, while successful distributor G Hari on the banner of Hari Venkateswara Pictures. GV Prakash himself scored tunes for the movie and launched the audio online. The film-makers had fixed the date for release the film on May 13 after completion of all the other formalities. Speaking on the occasion, hero and music director GV Prakash says, ‘There is a very good response to the audio of ‘Pencil’ which was released recently. All the songs in the film were penned by Srimani and I like the song ‘Rende Kallu…’ very much in the movie. With this film distributor Hari is turning a producer and is bringing out the movie on the banner of Hari Venkateswara Pictures. We are sure that the film would bring in the memories of your school life and the memorable incidents of those days.’Producer Hari says, ‘We are sure that the film would definitely attract the Telugu audiences especially the youth. We are confident that the film would entertain the audiences in this summer. The censor formalities were also completed and we are making efforts to release the film on May 13.’
