Some time ago, Pawan Kalyan stated that he will quit films after doing a couple of movies and continue to remain busy in politics. He revealed that he is planning to contest in 2019 elections on his political outfit, Jana Sena. However, he refuted giving such statement and said that he has plans to enter the politics but it was wrongly interpreted in the media that he would quit films. Contradicting the statement, Pawan Kalyan in an interview with a popular daily newspaper, reiterated that he would do as many films as possible before the 2019 as he would become busy with politics after that. He claims that he need money to survive and hence he is planning to earn money as much as possible before entering the politics and he may or may not act in films as the Indian politics is like a sea and he has to wade through the heavy currents of that sea. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan had confirmed that his next two projects would be directed by his close friends, SJ Surya and Trivikram Srinivas. Meanwhile, he mentioned that another sequel is coming up for Sardar Gabbar Singh, which could be ‘Raja Sardar Gabbar Singh’. Stating that he had no personal differences with his elder brother Chiranjeevi, he said that there may be conflict of opinions with regard to politics. He had also ruled out requesting Chiranjeevi to join his Janasena.
