Energetic hero Ram’s forthcoming movie ‘Ongole Gitta’ directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by BVSN Prasad is released today in a grand manner. Actress Kriti Kharbanda is playing lead role in the movie. 70% of the film has been made in the Guntur Mirchi yard which was a well appreciated stunt by everyone. Music is scored by GV.Prakash with Manisharma. Prakash Raj, Abhimanyu Singh, Brahmanandam and Ahuti Prasad are starring in the film.
Lets us see how the movie turns out to be.
Story begins with hero (ram) entrance an orphan named as White. He operates out of the Ongole Mirchi yard. His fearless attitude and intelligence earn him the respect and adoration of his fellow traders in the yard. The chairman of the yard is Adikesavulu (Prakash Raj), a benevolent and caring person. Adikesavulu who enjoys the support of the workers for his good nature however faces difficulties while trying to expand his market yard as local MLA (Ahuthi Prasad) has ideas to relocate the market.
White falls in love with Adikesavulu’s daughter Sandhya (Kriti Kharbandha) and asks Adikesavulu’s permission to marry her. But when Adikesavulu and MLA join hands to snatch the promised chairman post from him, he asks Adikesavulu’s daughter Sandhya (Kriti Karbanda) hand in return.
Now the story takes a twist. Both White and Adikesavulu have a past and a personal agenda. Both of them are connected to the Mirchi Yard’s former chairman Narayana (Prabhu). What is that past? What connection do Adikesavulu and White share with Narayana on silver screens.

Director Bhaskar should have come up with strong story as he is trying to prove his mettle in Tollywood. But choosing this plain story with unsuccessful screenplay is going to beat him on the head again.
Length of the second half is a problem and some of the comedy tracks looked like forcefully inserted. Much talked of nude scenes of Prakash Raj not required and irrelevant to the story. However songs are well pictured and are enjoyable. Traditional marriage beats from all districts stands out.
‘Ongole Gitta’ is slated to be a pakka mass-masala entertainer, but lost its pace with weak narration and tumbling screenplay graph.
