Indian-American actor Omi Vaidya made a documentary film titled Big In Bollywood, which chronicles his struggling days as an actor in Los Angeles and how he lands a dream role in the blockbuster 3 Idiots.
The docu-film was recently declared the best foreign film at the Las Vegas Film Festival, will now be screened at the Indian Film Festival Japan (IFFJ). The seven-day film fest, starting Saturday, aims at providing a common platform for both Indian and Japanese cinemas in order to understand and appreciate the film cultures of both countries.
“My doc, Big In Bollywood screens in Tokyo, Japan Oct 7 at 9:20 pm at the IFFJ. Wish I could go,” Omi tweeted.
