NTR Jr wins Filmfare Best Actor Award – Happy Days bagged six awards
The 55th Filmfare Awards celebrations were conducted at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Saturday. The awards were presented in various categories for films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam released in 2007.
Happy Days bagged six awards: Best film, Sekhar Kammula,best director,Micky J Meyer, best music director, Vanamali, best lyric writer,Kartik, best male singer and Sonia, best supporting actress.
NTR Jr got the best actor award for his role in Yamadonga. Trisha won the best actress award for her portrayal in Aadavaari Maatalaku Ardhalu Verule. Jagapathibabu has been awarded with the best supporting actor for his role in Laksham. The best debut award went to Ram Charan Tej for Chirutha and Hansika for Desamuduru. Jayaprada received the lifetime achievement award.
Shriya, Hansika, Shobhana,Ramya, Rambha, Poonam Bajwa and Namitha participated in the cultural events.
