Many heroes have already come from the Mega family. They include Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan Teja, Varun Teja, Sai Dharam Teja, Allu Arjun and so on… However, no heroines have come from that family. Nagababu’s daughter Konidela Niharika went a step ahead in this process and made her debut as an anchor for a popular dance show ‘Dhee-Juniors’ aired by ETV, a popular Telugu channel. Born on December 19 in Hyderabad, she had completed her bachelor’s degree in mass communication. Though she is from Mega family, she is reportedly a huge fan of Akkineni Nagarjuna and even used to bunk classes in St Mary’s College to watch his movies. Though Niharika played in several short films, she never ventured into the Big Screen. Now, she got an opportunity to play in a movie and made her debut playing opposite Naga Shourya for his forthcoming film ‘Oka Manasu’ directed by Ramaraju of ‘Mallela Theeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu’-fame and produced by Madhura Sridhar Reddy. She became the first lady to enter the films from the Mega family. The film has reached the final stage of production and as per the film unit sources the film is slated for release during ‘Sri Rama Navami’. Earlier, it was planned to be released as Ugadi gift, but in view of Pawan Kalyan’s movie ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ slated for release during those days, the release date was shifted by one month. The story of the movie ‘Oka Manasu’ is good and the film-makers expect that Niharika will get complete support from the Mega fans.
