No Money For Acting School

Superstar akshay kumar whose last release ‘Entertainment’ has scores well on box-office is busy with his upcoming production venture ‘The Shaukeens’. The film has three NSD graduates — Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra- in the lead. Akshay says that he could not afford to enroll himself in an acting school during his earlier days.

The film is the remake of the 1982 hit film of the same name. Akki is also making a special appearance in the film apart from donning the producer’s hat.
At the trailer launch of the film Akshay said that, “The lead in the film are all passed out from National School Of Drama but I am from NANSD which is Non actor National School Of Drama.I had no money to go to any acting school. There used to be many big acting schools but I couldn’t afford those”.
‘The Shaukeens’ has Lisa Haydon in the female lead and directed by Abhishek Sharma. It will release on November 7.
