Actor Nikhil Siddhartha who is currently busy with his Telugu romantic-comedy film “Surya Vs Surya” plans to take a short break to pursue a film course in the US post release of this film.
Nikhil said that, “I’m eagerly looking forward to the release of ‘Surya Vs Surya’. Although I’m listening to scripts, I haven’t signed any other project yet as I have planned to take a short break of two months for doing a film course at New York Film Institute”.
The actor had to gain weight for his last release “Karthikeya“, and for this film he had to shed for his role.
He said, “I play a 19-year old college student. I had to look the age of my character. So I went on a strict diet and lost about 10 kg”.
In this film he plays the character who suffers from Porphyria – a rare disorder that stops production of hemoglobin and hence can’t face the sun.
“Surya Vs Surya” also stars Tanikella Bharani, Tridha Chaudhary, Madhoo and Rao Ramesh. The film is directed by by Karthik Gattamneni.
