Nikhil Advani is making an animation film Delhi Safary which is now being converted into 3D format. The film has been under production for the last four years. It has massage on saving forests.
The story is about a group of five animals from Borivali National Park going to Delhi to meet the Prime Minister, pleading that they stop encroaching forests. Actors like Akshaye Khanna, Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Boman Irani and Urmila Matondkar have lent their voices to the film.
Nikhil Advani says that since the market for 3D films is growing in India, as can be seen by the success of the films Ice Age 3, Monsters vs Aliens, How To Train Your Dragon. Even the film Haunted has become popular with the audience. And so, Delhi Safary is being converted into 3D and will release during the Dussera festival season.
