Neetu Chandra complains to HRC on Rajasekhar
Actress Neetu Chandra alleged that she was brutally abused and manhandled by actor Rajshekhar and his director-wife Jeevitha while working for the film Satyameva Jayathe, which was released yesterday.
Neetu hired the services of a Mumbai advocate Jamshed Mistry to fight for what she says is her right to work with dignity. She has sent strongly-worded letters of complaint to Women’s Rights and Human Rights Commission and will meet the Commissioner of Police in Hyderabad to initiate criminal proceedings against Rajasekhar and Jeevitha.
According to Neetu, while working for a Telugu film Satyameva Jayate the leading Rajshekhar and his director-wife Jivitha tortured and threatened Neetu, physically abused her and insulted her in front of the unit, made her work for inhuman hours about 15-20 hours per day and forced her to shoot when she could hardly stand.
