Naseeruddin Shah in mini-budget film “Hunt”
Malayalam film maker Anup Kurian is making a mini-budget film costing around just Rs 50 lakhs and Naseeruddin Shah is playing the role of a man who grows marijuana. For this role the veteran actor is putting on a new look by sporting some fierce dreadlocks to look like a bona fide hippie or Rastafarian. The entire film will be shot in Kochi.
“Hunt” is Kurian’s second film. His first venture “Manasarovar” was selected as the opening film of the Indian Panorama for the International Film Festival of India in Goa. The film starred Atul Kulkarni, Neha Dubey and Zafar Karachiwala in pivotal roles.
