Three-fourth shooting of ‘Brahmotsavam’ was already complete and the director of the film Srikanth Addala is firm to complete the film as early as possible as the release date of the film was fixed as April 29. Though there are rumours that the film’s release date was pushed to May last week, the film unit is trying their best to finish the shooting by March and the post-production should be completed by the end of April to facilitate the release on the scheduled date. Soon after completing his part of shooting in ‘Brahmotsavam’, Maheshbabu signed for a film to be directed by Murugadoss, a Tamil director, who gave a big hit like Stalin for Chiranjeevi sometime ago. The project is expected to be a high voltage action drama with the Indian judiciary system in its backdrop. Apparently, more than Rs 100 crores are to be invested for this Telugu-Tamil bilingual. If everything goes well, the shooting of this movie will kick-start on April 15, the Tamil New Year’s Day. Names of several heroines are doing the rounds as Mahesh’s love interest in the film. Harris Jayaraj has already started composing tunes and Santosh Sivan, a popular cinematographer, is wielding the camera for the project.
