Mohan Babu in US to raise funds for poor kids
Actor-producer Mohan Babu is presently touring the United States raising funds from NRI Telugus residing there to fund the free education of around 2,500 underprivileged kids in SVE Trust institutions.
Mohan Babu is the founder-chairman of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust (SVET) which comprises of an international college, an engineering college, a pharmacy college, a nursing college, a degree college and a college for PG studies. The trust has around 10,000 students studying in various streams and 25 per cent of them are given free education. Around 2,500 underprivileged kids get free education.
he actor landed in San Francisco on October 31 and was received by Jayaram Komati of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA). He is expected to visit Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, New Jersey next as part of his fund-raising trip.
