MJ’s Gold plated Coffin worth $25,000
According to sources, Pop king Michel Jackson has selected his choice of coffin long ago that is in year 2003. He prefer to have a coffin resembling the coffin of his favorite singer late James Brown. The coffin is made of bronze affixed with Gold plated sheets made by Batesville Casket Company, of his home state of Indiana.
The $25,000 worth richly decorated gold plated coffin is inlaid with a velvet cloth, named as ‘The Promethean.’ Los Angeles-based costume designers, Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush, are set to design the suit the King of Pop will be buried in. According to Access Hollywood, Jackson worked with Tompkins and Bush for the last 20 years of his career and the duo was currently creating costumes for his “This Is It” comeback tour in London.
Though, the celebrity website TMZ.com reported that Jackson’s body would be driven the four hours from Los Angeles to Never land Valley Ranch tomorrow, accompanied by a 30-car motorcade, where a public viewing would be held over the weekend, it didn’t took place as it described in its web site. There is too much confusion prevailed over the date and place of the funeral of the Pop king, as the MJ’s family members not yet revealed any information in this regard.
