Mithun in OMG Remake


Mithun Chakraborty has fallen in love with Telugu Cinema. He was highly impressed with the story of ‘Oosaravelli’, which was remade into Hindi as ‘Rocky’. This was the debut movie of Mithun’s son Mimoh, in which Mithun also appeared in a guest role. Mithun was supposed to make his Tollywood debut under the direction of Satya Prabhas, son of Raviraja Pinisetty. But the debut may happen even before that.
Mithun Da has played a very important role in the Hindi OMG. He played the character of Leeladhar Swamy, the shrewd godman. Now the makers of the Telugu remake are keen to rope him in the same role in the Telugu version too.
Venkatesh plays the role of an antique dealer who indicts God, Pawan plays Lord Krishna who comes to enlighten Venkatesh. These roles were played by Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar respectively in the Hindi original. Shriya plays the female lead as Venkatesh’s wife. Pawan will join the shooting from June 9th after his vacation.
