Mamata Mohandas targets Bollywood
After Asin, Shriya Saran, Genelia D’Souza and Trisha, it is now the turn of Mamata Mohandas to search for brighter prospects in Bollywood. She has been to Mumbai recently and is reported to have scrutinized some scripts offered to her. But she has not decided yet.
Mamata was last seen in Tollywood in Nagarjuna starrer “King”. She wants to comeback to Telugu cinema when a meaty role is offered. She is also not visible in Tamil field after “Guru Namma Allu”.
But the singer-actor is busy in four films in Malayalam and paired with stars like Dileep and Prithvi. In one untitled period film she plays an author-backed role of a freedom fighter, which she feels has the potential to win an award if she performance to the best of her abilities.
However, whenever time permits, she is making trips to Mumbai to explore possibilities in Bollywood.
