Malayalam actor Rajan P Dev is no more
Veteran Malayalam actor Rajan P Dev passed away in Kochi in the early hours of July 29. The 58-year old character actor has been suffering with diabetes and liver disorders for some time. He is survived by wife Santha, daughter Ashamma and son Jibile Raj.
Rajan P. Dev was born on May 20, 1954 at Cherthala in Alappuzha district of Keral. He was interested in stage plays and got recognition in the role of Kochu Vava in the stage play “Kattukuthira”. He made his screen debut with “Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku “ in 1983. He acted in more than 80 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.
Rajan P Dev’s best known Telugu films are Aadi, Khushi, Dil, Bunny, Gudumba Shankar, Arya, Ayudham among others. The last film he had acted was Mammootty’s “Pattanathil Bhootham” in Malayalam.
