“Mahatma” release postponed to October 9

Srikanth’s 100th film “Mahatma” directed by Krishna Vamsi and produced by CR Manohar was originally scheduled for release on October 2, Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

This film “Mahatma” is about how a violent protagonist becomes a politician and turns into Gandhian philosophy of non-violence (Ahimsa). Bhavana plays the female lead in this film.

However, the release date has been postponed to October 9. According to sources, the postponement is because of some delay in the post production work as well as availability of theatres.

Allu Aravind purchased the state-wide distribution rights of Mahatma.
