Madhuri Dixit retired from films in 2002 after being at the top for a decade, married Dr Shriram Nene and is now a mother of two children. After being away from films all along, she came back in 2007 to act in the film Aaja Nachle in 2007. But last year she relocated in Mumbai along with her family.
Everyone expected the dancing diva to pick up her Bollywood career from where she left it. She never appeared eager to grab roles and refused many offers. She will be seen however in Dhed Ishqiya along with Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.
But, it is now revealed that she actually wants to start her own production house to make films. She bought 3,000 square feet in the building called Maurya Landmark near Infiniti Mall which will house her office. The formalities of floating a production company are in full swing and she may announce her first production by Diwali this year.
After actors Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Ameesha Patel, Dia Mirza, Lara Dutta, Preity Zinta and Sushmita Sen, it is now the turn of Madhuri to become a producer.
